Podiatrists email list

Reach the Foot and Ankle Decision Makers

Podiatrists are the only clinicians whose entire training is the foot, ankle and lower extremity, which is why they buy differently from every other specialty on this site. A doctor of podiatric medicine holds a DPM rather than an MD or DO, trains at one of the nine CPME-accredited colleges of podiatric medicine, completes a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency, and is licensed by a state podiatric medical board whose scope rules differ from state to state. The Podiatrists Email List from BizzContacts holds 109,900+ verified podiatrist and chiropodist records tagged by NPI taxonomy, board certification, practice setting and procedure mix.

Scope is the filter that decides whether a campaign lands. A DPM running a rearfoot and ankle reconstruction caseload under ABFAS certification is a different buyer from one running at-risk diabetic foot care in skilled nursing facilities, even though both are podiatrists in the same state. Every record carries the signals that separate them, so the list can be cut to the practice you actually sell to. Procurement teams request the same file as a podiatrist mailing list, a DPM email database or a chiropodists contact database depending on internal naming.

What is it

What is the Podiatrists Email List?

The Podiatrists Email List is a verified contact file of doctors of podiatric medicine and their international equivalents, organised by NPI taxonomy, board certification body, state licence and surgical scope, practice setting and the procedures the practice actually performs. It is the working dataset behind campaigns for orthotics, diabetic foot care, wound care, in-office imaging, surgical implants and podiatry practice software.

Podiatry sits in an unusual commercial position. A single independent DPM often signs for capital equipment that in any other specialty would route through a hospital value analysis committee, because most podiatrists still practise in small private or single-specialty groups where the clinician and the buyer are the same person. That is why the Podiatrist Mailing List is built around procedure mix and practice ownership rather than facility hierarchy: the fastest way to a podiatry sale is usually a direct line to the practising clinician.

  • DPM credential, state licence number and surgical scope confirmed on every US record.
  • NPI taxonomy captured at sub-specialty level, not just the parent 213E podiatrist code.
  • Board certification separated by body, ABFAS for surgery and ABPM for podiatric medicine.
  • Practice setting tagged, from independent private practice to hospital, VA and wound care centre.
  • Chiropodist-titled practitioners in the UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth held on the same file.

What is included

What data is included in the Podiatrists Email List?

Podiatry campaigns fail on scope, not on volume. Every record ships with the credential, licence and procedure fields needed to write to the practice rather than to the persona.

Fields outside this set can be appended on request. Teams selling custom foot orthoses routinely ask for casting method and lab relationship; wound care teams ask for total contact casting and skin substitute usage; practice software vendors ask for the incumbent EHR. Tell us what decides a fit for your product and we will confirm what share of the file carries it before you commit, rather than shipping blanks in a column you paid for.

Build the podiatry segment you actually sell to

Podiatry is one profession with several unrelated buying centres inside it. These are the cuts buyers ask for most, and every one of them is confirmed as a count before you commit.

NPI Taxonomy
Split surgical, primary podiatric medicine, sports, geriatric and radiology taxonomies rather than treating 213E as one audience.
State and Surgical Scope
Scope rules differ by state, so filter to jurisdictions where your device or procedure is actually within a DPM's licence.
Board Certification
Separate ABFAS surgical certification from ABPM medical certification when the pitch depends on operative volume.
Procedure Mix
Target the caseload, for example minimally invasive bunion correction, flatfoot reconstruction or nail and skin pathology.
Practice Ownership
Split practice owners, who sign for capital equipment themselves, from employed and hospital-based DPMs who cannot.
Practice Setting
Isolate private practice, multispecialty group, hospital, VA, wound care centre or mobile nursing-home podiatry.
Diabetic Foot Focus
Filter to at-risk limb-preservation practices for offloading, skin substitute and total contact casting campaigns.
Surgical Facility Access
Find DPMs with ASC ownership or hospital operating privileges when the product only sells into an operative setting.
In-Office Ancillary
Target practices already running radiography, ultrasound or vascular testing for upgrade and consumables campaigns.
Title and Region
Include or exclude chiropodist-titled practitioners in the UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth.
Practice Size
Separate solo DPMs from multi-clinician groups, which run formal purchasing and longer cycles.
Contact Data Required
Restrict the build to records carrying a verified email, a direct dial, or both.

Combine any of these into one brief. We return the count first, then the file, so the segment is agreed before there is an invoice attached to it.

Audience profile

Who are podiatrists, and why does the title vary?

In the United States a podiatrist is a doctor of podiatric medicine, a separately licensed physician-level clinician who diagnoses and treats conditions of the foot, ankle and related lower-extremity structures. Training runs four years at a college of podiatric medicine accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, followed by a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency, with an optional added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Board certification comes from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery for surgical practice or the American Board of Podiatric Medicine for medical practice, and the American Podiatric Medical Association is the profession's principal association.

Chiropodist is the older name for the same clinician. In the United Kingdom both podiatrist and chiropodist are protected titles on the Health and Care Professions Council register and refer to the same regulated profession, with podiatrist now the standard term; Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada follow the same pattern to varying degrees. Because the two words describe one audience, BizzContacts keeps them on one file rather than splitting the profession across two contact lists that would each be incomplete.

Coverage

Which podiatry sub-specialties are covered?

Eight working segments drawn from NPI taxonomy and confirmed practice pattern. Available individually or combined. Counts reflect the verified universe at the most recent refresh.

42,790
Foot and ankle surgery
ABFAS-track DPMs running operative caseloads, from bunion and hammertoe correction through rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. The same audience as the podiatric surgeons list.
31,400
Primary podiatric medicine
General podiatry practices handling nail and skin pathology, biomechanics, orthotic prescription and routine foot care as the core of the caseload.
12,600
Diabetic and at-risk foot care
Limb-preservation focused DPMs managing ulceration, offloading, debridement and total contact casting, often alongside vascular and wound care services.
7,900
Sports medicine podiatry
DPMs with athletic and running-injury caseloads, gait analysis and custom orthotic prescription, frequently tied to a team or clinic contract.
6,300
Geriatric and mobile podiatry
Practices delivering at-risk foot care into skilled nursing, assisted living and home settings, which buy portable equipment and consumables rather than capital.
4,100
Wound care centre podiatry
DPMs practising inside hospital-affiliated wound care centres, where skin substitutes and advanced dressings are on a facility formulary.
3,500
Hospital and VA podiatry
Employed DPMs inside health systems and Veterans Affairs facilities, where purchasing routes through supply chain rather than the clinician.
1,300
Chiropodists and international podiatrists
HCPC-registered and equivalently regulated practitioners in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, held under both accepted titles.
Use cases

How do businesses use the Podiatrists Email List?

Eight motions this file is built for. One dataset, filtered differently for each, because a limb-preservation practice and a sports podiatry clinic share a licence and nothing else.

ORT
Custom foot orthotics
Reach prescribing DPMs by casting method and current lab relationship so orthotic lab and scanner campaigns target practices already writing the prescriptions.
DFU
Diabetic foot and wound care
Target at-risk foot care practices with offloading devices, skin substitutes, total contact casting and advanced dressings where ulcer caseload is confirmed.
MIS
Minimally invasive bunion systems
Place MIS instrumentation and fixation in front of ABFAS-certified DPMs with confirmed forefoot operative volume and surgical facility access.
IMG
In-office imaging and diagnostics
Promote digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound and vascular testing to practices at the upgrade point in their ancillary equipment cycle.
DME
In-office DME and footwear
Reach practices dispensing therapeutic footwear, walking boots and bracing, where the clinician is also the purchaser and the biller.
SFT
Podiatry practice software
Target practice owners by clinician count and incumbent EHR for podiatry-specific scheduling, charting, billing and imaging platforms.
PHA
Podiatric pharmaceuticals
Reach prescribing DPMs for onychomycosis, antifungal, antibiotic and injectable therapies, filtered to the taxonomies that carry the caseload.
CME
Conference and CE recruitment
Drive registrations for APMA, ACFAS and state podiatric medical association meetings, filtered by licence state and certification track.

Only selling into operative podiatry?

If the product only makes sense in theatre, the surgical subset has its own page. The Podiatric Surgeons Email List is the 42,790 ABFAS-track records from this file, already filtered to DPMs with operative caseloads and facility access.

Compliance & verification

Data compliance and verification

The Podiatrists Email Database holds professional B2B contact information only. No patient record, claim, diagnosis or other protected health information enters the pipeline at any stage, which is what keeps podiatry campaigns clear of HIPAA exposure even though the audience is clinical. The file is HIPAA aligned for US sends, GDPR ready for the UK and EU, CCPA compliant in California, CAN-SPAM compliant for US email and PIPEDA compliant for Canadian outreach. Opt-out requests are processed within 72 hours and suppressed permanently across every future build.

Professional data only
Credential and work contact fields, never patient or claims data

No PHI in the pipeline at any stage
GDPR-ready
Lawful basis documented for UK and EU chiropodist records
CAN-SPAM

Why BizzContacts

Why choose BizzContacts for podiatry data?

Six things that separate a working podiatry file from a scraped directory of foot clinics.

Taxonomy-level, not specialty-level
Records carry the specific 213E sub-taxonomy rather than the parent podiatrist code, so surgical, medical, sports and geriatric practice patterns stay separable.
State surgical scope reconciled
Podiatric scope is set state by state and a device can be inside a DPM's licence in one state and outside it in the next. Scope is held per record so campaigns do not pitch procedures a clinician cannot legally perform.
Certification bodies kept apart
ABFAS surgical certification and ABPM medical certification are recorded separately instead of collapsed into a single boarded flag.
Ownership signal on every practice
Practice owners sign for capital equipment; employed DPMs route it through supply chain. Ownership is tagged so the pitch matches who can actually buy.
One profession, both titles
Chiropodist-titled practitioners are held on the same file under the same taxonomy rather than stranded on a separate list, so international builds are complete.
Weekly re-verification
Email, direct dial, practice affiliation and licence status re-checked every seven days, with bounces credited back 1:1 inside the refresh window.

Data sources

Where podiatry records come from

Five named origins feed the file. Each one is a register or directory that can be checked, not an aggregator buying from another aggregator.

NPPES and NPI taxonomy
The national provider registry supplies the NPI, the 213E taxonomy at sub-specialty level and the practice location of record for every US DPM.
State podiatric medical boards
State boards supply licence status, licence number and the surgical scope granted in that jurisdiction, which differs materially state to state.
Certification board directories
ABFAS and ABPM published directories confirm certification status and track, including added reconstructive rearfoot and ankle qualification.
Association and society directories
APMA, ACFAS and state podiatric medical association listings confirm practice details and continuing education activity.
International regulator registers
HCPC in the UK, CORU in Ireland, AHPRA in Australia and the equivalent provincial and national registers supply chiropodist and podiatrist records outside the US.

Where two sources disagree, the regulator wins and the record is flagged for analyst review rather than shipped on a guess.

Sourcing

How podiatry data is verified

Sourcing gets the record. Verification is what makes it worth sending to. Six steps run before a podiatrist record ships.

Licence and scope reconciliation
Every US record is matched against its state board listing for active status, licence number and the surgical scope that state grants.
Taxonomy confirmation
The self-reported NPI taxonomy is checked against observed practice signal, because a DPM whose registry code says surgery but whose practice runs routine care is a mis-targeted send.
MX-tested email
Each address is tested against a live mail server. Catch-all domains are excluded rather than passed off as verified.
Practice affiliation check
Practice name, clinician count and ownership are confirmed against the practice's own listings, since podiatry groups merge and rebrand frequently.
Analyst review
A researcher confirms procedure mix, ancillary equipment and facility access on records flagged as high value before they enter the file.
Weekly refresh cycle
The whole file re-verifies on a seven-day cycle. Departures and licence lapses are flagged, not left sitting in your next build.
